How to play
Pixel Pitch is top-down pixel football on iPhone. Menus stay in portrait; matches play in landscape. Open Settings → Controls in the app for the full control reference.
Quick start
- Choose a mode. From the main menu, pick Exhibition (one match) or League (season + table).
- Set up your match. Choose format (3v3, 5v5, or 11v11), difficulty, and length. In League, also pick team count and single round vs home & away before your first fixture.
- Kick off. The pitch rotates to landscape automatically. Move with the left stick.
- Pass, shoot, tackle. Use the on-screen buttons on the right. In 5v5 and 11v11, tap SW to switch player — passing to a teammate also switches control to them.
- Restarts. On home throw-ins, corners, and free kicks, aim with the stick and use the action button. The AI handles away restarts.
League mode
- You play as Pixel FC through a configurable season.
- League settings lock after your first match — finish the season, then tap New season to reconfigure.
- After each of your fixtures, other teams’ results are simulated and the table updates.
- View Fixtures & results in the league hub.
- Reset anytime: Settings → Reset league save (device only).
What to include
To help us respond faster, please include:
- Device model (for example iPhone 16) and iOS version
- Pixel Pitch version (Settings → About)
- Whether the issue is in Exhibition, League, a match, Settings, or Premium shop
- Screenshots or steps to reproduce the problem
Common topics
- Screen rotation. Menus are portrait; matches lock to landscape. This is intentional.
- Purchases (Premium Edition / Remove Ads). Open the Premium shop from Settings and tap Restore. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID. For billing problems, also check reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Ads. Free play may show between-match interstitial ads (with a cooldown). Ads are removed by Premium Edition or Remove Ads. You may see App Tracking Transparency and, in some regions, a Google consent form.
- Pass switched to the wrong player? In 5v5 and 11v11, tap SW or pass to the teammate you want to control.
- Too hard / too easy? Change difficulty in Exhibition or League setup (Standard vs Sharp).
Known limitations (0.2.0)
- No online multiplayer or cloud save
- Keepers are AI-controlled
- No in-app sound/music toggle yet
- Cup / career modes planned for a future update (Premium Edition)
